In honor of International Women’s Day, SINGULART, French Art Gallery and European Leader, is dedicating an entire week to highlighting influential women in the art world.
About this Event SINGULART Cofounder Vera Kempf will moderate the conversation about Women in Art.
She will be joined by art experts:
Rania Elafifi : a London-based independent curator who has previously worked at the Tate Modern, the National Portrait Gallery, and the Courtauld Institute of Art.
Laurence De Valmy : a French Amercian artist based in the United States whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions internationally. Growing up with a mother who was an artist, she decided to pursue her own artistic practice and her current work explores art history and our relationship with social networks. Working in acrylic on canvas, she explores the links between famous artists in a humorous and clever way.
Andrea Sheehan has been leading her team at Dawson Design Associates, Inc and Dawson Design Associates, LTD London for the past thirty years. She has developed a diverse portfolio of high-profile and award-winning hotels in the boutique and luxury markets, both nationally and internationally. Her unique and distinctive approach, integrating natural artistic talent with business savvy and hospitality industry experience & knowledge, provides DDA’s clients with the edge they need to be competitive in their respective markets.
