Dopo questo periodo di chiusura forzata e necessaria, Nero Gallery riapre i battenti ed è pronta ad accogliervi nel pieno rispetto delle misure di sicurezza e protezione.
Questa mostra immediatamente successiva al difficile lockdown che ci ha coinvolto tutti, vuole farci riflettere sul momento che abbiamo vissuto e che ancora stiamo vivendo e sul futuro che ci si prospetta.
In un periodo così incerto e volubile, una visione post-apocalittica non è così lontana dal nostro immaginario. Come ogni narrazione post-apocalittica ha origine da una catastrofe che funge da evento scatenante, tutti noi oggi siamo testimoni di un accadimento che ha modificato radicalmente il modo in cui eravamo abituati a vivere. Gli schemi con cui decifravamo il mondo non funzionano più, mettendo il nostro sistema cognitivo in profonda crisi.
Le opere che gli artisti ci presentano sono immagini di essere mostruosi, vicini a futuri distopici o provenienti da un passato mistico. Essi rappresentano un’indagine della psiche umana e dell’impatto che su di essa può avere una situazione di crisi come quella che stiamo vivendo. Incarnano la paura diffusa che proviamo in seguito ad un evento così scioccante. Ogni grande sconvolgimento porta inevitabilmente a nuovi scenari a cui la nostra mente deve abituarsi, che essi abbiamo riscontri negativi o meno.
I quadri in mostra sono differenti per stile e realizzazione, tutti però seguono il tema forte del trauma vissuto o della tragedia che è purtroppo necessaria, in alcuni casi, per un’evoluzione. Dal fallimento del mondo come lo conosciamo, dall’azzerarsi di tutte le nostre certezze, non senza dolore o perdita può partire una ricostruzione. Per ogni fine c’è un nuovo inizio.
La mostra sarà visitabile da un numero ristretto di persone alla volta

A group show that collects the creations of Annabella Cuomo, Django Nokes, Gianluca Danieletto, Mariarita Renatti
From June 20th to July 25th, 2020
After this period of forced and necessary closure, Nero Gallery reopens its doors and is ready to welcome you in full compliance with safety and protection measures.
This exhibition immediately following the difficult lockdown that involved us all, wants to make us reflect on the moment that we have lived and that we are still living and the future that awaits us.
In such an uncertain and fickle period, a post-apocalyptic vision is not so far from our imagination. As every post-apocalyptic narrative originates from a catastrophe that acts as a trigger event, all of us today are witnesses of an event that has radically changed the way we used to live. The patterns with which we deciphered the world no longer work, putting our cognitive system in deep crisis.
The works that the artists present to us are images of monstrous beings, close to dystopian futures or coming from a mystical past. They represent an investigation of the human psyche and the impact that a crisis situation such as we are experiencing can have on it. They embody the widespread fear we experience after such a shocking event. Any great upheaval inevitably leads to new scenarios that our mind has to get used to, whether they are negative or not.
The paintings on display are different in style and realization, but all follow the strong theme of the trauma experienced or the tragedy which is unfortunately necessary, in some cases, for an evolution. A reconstruction can start from the failure of the world as we know it, from the elimination of all our certainties, not without pain or loss. For each end there is a new beginning.
The exhibition will be open to a limited number of people at a time.
